With a strong agricultural background both custom farming as well as running his own cow/calf operation Josh Unrau took an interest in auctioneering and pursued opportunities to work alongside Nickel Auctions Ltd. in 2018/2019, eventually purchasing the business and establishing UNRAU AUCTIONS LTD. in 2020.

Josh and his wife Sheila along with their family are still actively operating their commercial beef cattle operation near MacGregor MB. Josh Is also an auctioneer at the Gladstone Auction Mart with weekly cattle sales.

UNRAU AUCTIONS LTD. has quickly earned a spot in the auction world. With regular equipment auctions based out of our 10 acre auction yard conveniently located right off the Trans-Canada HWY #1 between Austin and MacGregor, as well as offering on farm sales, we can market your machinery in a manner that will suit your needs best.

While we specialize in agricultural equipment, we also market many light duty and recreational vehicles as well as heavy trucks and equipment. We strive to accurately represent equipment to satisfy both our sellers and bidders and get the best returns possible.

WE HAVE NO BUYERS FEES!! At Unrau Auctions we stand firm on the tradition that our sellers pay a reasonable fair commission and we don’t “double dip” and charge our buyers any extra fees. Bidders can bid with confidence which in return leaves more dollars in the pockets of our consignors.
